In keeping with our desire to stay in touch with the Arizona Congressional delegation, this year I was joined in Washington, DC by Vice Mayor John Williams, City Manager Chris Hillman and Intergovernmental Director Michael Celaya. While thousands of local elected officials from around the country descend upon Washington each year for the National League of Cities, these officials often find it difficult to schedule time with their congressional representatives during such a frenzied time on the hill.
